Civils works relating to the installation of a new 360MVA 400/132kV transformer at Coalburn 400/132kV substation (SGT3), due to increasing windfarm generation.

Works Included:

• Excavation and construction of 150 no. reinforced concrete plinths
• Formation of reinforced concrete bunded transformer base 15X 24m
• Installation of new cable troughs, ducts and below ground earthing grid
• New drainage system with interceptor
