Project Description:

Whiteside & Ulzieside Windfarm is a new Windfarm to be constructed to the west of Sanquhar. As part of the works SPEN require to build a new 33kV substation in order to connect the new Windfarms onto the network.

The new substation will be connected at 33kV to the new 132/33kV Glenglass Substation

Works Included:

  • Laying of 1000m of 33KV duct in a trefoil arrangement from Glenglass Substation to Whiteside Hill Substation.
  • Laying of 2300m of 33KV duct in a trefoil arrangement from Glenglass Substation to Ulzieside Substation.
