Enhanced Gas Separation Project

Project Description:

Enabling and new civils infrastructure for Enhanced Gas Separation Project and supply network.

Works Included:

New Trains 1 & 2 Exchangers (KA23)

  • Enabling Works to construct new service routes to allow the diversion of safety critical and process critical services.
  • Carried out works to divert existing GRP Firemain to allow follow on construction works
  • Installation of 72no Driven Concrete Piles
  • Installation of various concrete pile caps, columns and slabs for new PAU's to be assembled upon.
  • Installation and construction of road modifications and temporary hardstandings to facilitate the heavy haul routes for PAU delivery

 

Crude Oil Stabilisation (KA31)

  • Installation of 12no Mini Ishebek Piles 
  • Installation of Concrete Pilecaps and support structures
  • Construction of New Culvert to 3rd Street 

 

Crude Oil Stabilisation (KA24)

  • Removal and disinvestment of existing buried structures, including 50no existing concrete piles
  • Removal of contaminated drainage and pipe bedding materials and reinstatement of lines
  • Installation of 150no concrete driven piles
  • Installation of various concrete pilecaps, support structures, pipe rack foundations, high point paving and roads
  • Installation of new surface water and oily water drainage systems using cement lined ductile iron, concrete and vitrified clay pipes
  • Construction of insitu concrete manholes

 

Cooling Water Package (KA24)

  • Installation of 50no concrete driven piles
  • Construction of cooling tower structure (base 200m3 concrete), plus 2.5m high concrete walls to the perimeter
  • Installation of 20" valve and pipe feeds for cooling tower

 

Transformers (KA45)

  • Construction of 2no transformer pens
  • Excavation and construction of 240m service trench to feed transformers
  • Construction of various concrete structures to take UPS buildings

 

During the course of the works we have also installed approx 4000m² of external concrete hardstandings for use by the mechanical contractor to fabricate his works upon, including the raft foundations to the construction village and heavy plant haul roads
