Project Description:
Construction of a Shell unit for Starbucks with surrounding landscape, external slabbing and a drive thru in existing Retail Park in Aberdeen
Works Included:
- Removal of vegetation in existing retail park
- Construction of steel portal frame
- Reinforced concrete foundations
- The external walls comprised of an external clay facing dark brown brick 11 course high with two different materials cladding the remainder of the building
- The building was split into two areas with the entrance/ seating areas lit up with large curtain walling with an Eternit Cedral click fibre cement horizontal board
- The second area was fully clad with a kingspan render panel around the store and kitchen
- The kingspan render was a composite panel which came with a ready made render effect of the panel
- Foul drainage tying into the main line and storm drainage with a 40m³ filter trench to hold water on site
- Externally around the building was slabbed for outside seating areas
- Drive thru lane which in only the 2nd Starbucks drive thru in Scotland
- New car parking bays
- Construction of service yard
- Bollards and Pedestrian Guardrails were put in place to protect customers
