Contract: SBCC Design and Build Contract 2011 Plus Amendments

Project Description:

The design and construction on a new 16,040ft² extension to the existing retail terrace comprising units 7 and 8 together with an 8,015ft² mezzanine floor within unit 8.

Works Included:

  • Structural concrete foundations
  • Installation of Kingspan roof and wall cladding including rainwater goods and man safe system
  • Installation of a metal deck mezzanine level
  • Aluminium curtain walling system to the front units
  • Fire protection to Structural steel portal frame.
  • Smoke Vents
  • Lift shaft construction only for shell stage no equipment’s installed
  • Metal staircases with balllastrudes
  • Storm and foul water drainage
  • Construction of new car parking bays constructed with open texture tar
  • Installation of a new sub-station
  • New services to each unit, gas, water and electricity along with infrastructure for BT
  • New car park with disabled access at front of units
  • New car park lighting column and flood lights fixed externally around both units
  • Small plant/bin store constructed with Galvanised steel and timber cladding
  • Slabbed paving to the front of both units.
  • Service yard reinstatement in area of new services at the rear elevation of both units
  • New foul and surface water drainage installed and connected in to the existing drainage system.
